A work I've been doing in my Advanced Art Class at my HS. I'm pleased with the result, actually. I really like how the wood of the tree actually came out a good nuetral, as nuetrals are sort of my weakness. Also, I like the depth of the leaves, and I'm glad I was able to pull off a decent transition.
No, I don't know why exactly there's a brick wall in the background, but it was there when I was sketching the tree.
The tree, by the way, is modeled off of the tree in the outdoor eating area at my school.

PS: That weird black blob in the corner is the result of a horrible fixative accident. But, I figure with matting, it'll end up being okay and won't show.
I hope.
